Attack of the Snowgnomes

We had quite a shock when we went outside. The cars had been hijacked by brooding Snowgnomes. Mine (the first photo is the last I'll take of the Rover, which will leave for the last time tomorrow), Weeza and Phil's, Ro's and the Sage's were all affected. We wondered why Al's van and Dilly's car had not been attacked, until we ventured into their garden.

The Snowgnomes had grown and were approaching the house. Fortunately, it transpired that they were not, after all, unfriendly, as Squiffany demonstrates.

Which one is Squiffany?

Oh, and on the veg front, could you suggest to Al that next Remembrance Sunday he place a pile of pea-pods amongst some herbs, and then award a prize to the first person to call him Neville.

Dave, you are a card!

I'm not sure the pun would be appropriate for Remembrance Sunday, but he could do a quiz series on Prime Ministers.

Lovely photos. Snow! that's Norfolk for you.
Squiffany is like my French grand-daughter who wears anything sparkley at the drop of a hat.

Lovely!

We didn't get enough in total to make even a snowball...

It was odd to have that much snow in November when we didn't have as much as that the whole of last winter.

She has a whole lot of 'princess' and party dresses (car boot sales are so useful) and dresses up at the drop of a hat. An excuse to do so yesterday was that Weeza and family came over!

I'm not jealous. We didn't even have ANY snow!

Is this the first time we've seen Squiffany? She looks just like her granny. You haven't got a picture of you at that age, have you?

It would be a dageurotype, Dandy.

I was almost as sweet and winsome in those far-off days, Dand. (I'm ignoring the other commenter)

Close call. I love her dress and overboots. Cute post.

The boots have butterflies on. Great, aren't they?

Here, there, everywhere a snowman and one beautiful princess.

We had that, one, early, unexpected skiff of snow and so far, no more, unless it melts before we get up. And, that's okay with me. I can be satisfied with others pictures of it.
