3 Communion services and a carol service in 6 hours. Gosh. I can't go to bed yet, I need to recover a bit first.

Oh, what's the problem? This is hardly Great Literature. I'd appreciate anything taken from here being acknowledged, and I might change my mind if I'm suddenly proclaimed as the Literary Queen of the Blogosphere - but I probably wouldn't. Do what you like, just as long as it doesn't extend to defamation of anyone, even me.
Actually, you want to pass off what I say as your own, I might even be flattered. Let's face it, who cares anyway?

Oh my...when did you write this post?
No matter..I hope it was a goodie. My day is almost done..food long cooked and eaten, people somnolent on the sofa....and I with an insane urge to run.
Which I did, down to the beach, in the dark.
There is nothing like the slapping of an incoming tide on a pebbly beach to restore peace and order to wild internal tumult. Dishes and dessert be damned.

When I got back from the midnight service, accompanied by tea, whisky and a satsuma. Then I started wrapping presents.
