Sad news
Sorry, folks, to be the bearer of bad news, but the little bantam didn't come round after the operation. Thanks for your good wishes, the Sage is very touched that you care.
Oh no. This is only one step (well maybe a couple) away from the death of a child! Especially for the midwife, aka the Sage. So very sorry, my dears. At least she never woke up, and so died peacefully.
Delightful people with a little too much time on their hands

Oh, what's the problem? This is hardly Great Literature. I'd appreciate anything taken from here being acknowledged, and I might change my mind if I'm suddenly proclaimed as the Literary Queen of the Blogosphere - but I probably wouldn't. Do what you like, just as long as it doesn't extend to defamation of anyone, even me.
Actually, you want to pass off what I say as your own, I might even be flattered. Let's face it, who cares anyway?

So sorry. It was a very touching account yesterday.
Have already expressed my condolences to you both on FB, but I'll do it here too.
So sorry. Poor little thing has gone to the Greater Coop.

I am very sorry to hear this.
It seemed to be no big thing. Sad.
Thanks, dears. It's more stressful for outdoor pets than for domestic ones, being handled by strangers, but we thought she'd be all right.

I am shocked and saddened. So sorry.
