Understandably, Zerlina is very proud of them, especially as she loves butterflies.
Me? No, I bought some boots back before Christmas, but otherwise I haven't had any new shoes for months. About 8 or 9 months, now I think about it. I'm waiting to see if I'm going to be able to wear heels higher than an inch and a half before I do any shopping.
Anyway, with all the family birthdays that are coming up, it'll be time to put shopping for other people first for a few weeks.

No Manolos.
Little girl clothes and shoes are so cute. Why is it so hard to find things you love in adult sizes? Every store seems to carry the same boring styles around here.
Startrite, Mago (excuse no link, it's all too fiddly on the phone).
Everything tends to be too young or too dull, Marion.
I love them!
they are beautiful shoes!!
You girls and your shoes!
I've found I'm unable to wear heels higher than an inch and a half.
They are adorable. I can see why she loves them.
Dave, practice makes perfect.
We're such pretty little featherheads, aren't we Roger?
I know, Roses, it hadn't occurred to me that Dave had even tried to wear heels. I'm awfully impressed.
What size are you, Dave? I've got some stilettos that I don't think I'll be wearing again, or not for some time, that you could use for practice.
I don't think I mentioned stilettos. I was thinking of the sort of shoes with thick heels/soles that I wore in the 70's.
Of course you did Dave, we believe you.
Ooh such pretty shoes. :)
I have always loved tiny shoes. Those are particularly adorable.
I don't know why you couldn't wear heels eventually. I would suggest working your way up gradually though.
