Here is Alex's pumpkin. Lovely Dilly removed the seeds and innards for him, because she - well, because she's lovely and she's thoughtful. Al just does it. I don't think he knows quite how clever he is at whatever he turns his hand to. He is wary of too much praise, too, though better than he used to be about coping with it.
I think I might manage better with this blog in Chrome, it seems not to need to sign me out. I prefer Safari because it blocks profiling, but that's how it goes. While I'm with the pumpkins, some other light effects and his other pumpkin.
Medical tests ongoing, though the last will take place later this month. I have a telephone call booked with a doctor next week but I've just checked my notes on the NHS app and the MRI is clear. All quite unexciting so far, which obviously is a good thing.
Tomorrow, our friend Lawrie is coming to stay. His sister-in-law has just died, in her mid 80s and he will be going to her funeral in North Norfolk on Friday. We've suggested he stay for the weekend too - he's the friend whose wife has Alzheimer's but is still a happy, delightful person, but three days of driving would be a lot for him, so a relaxing Saturday will do him good. Their daughter will look after Lynn. But there will be lots of chat and probably late nights, so I'm going for a leisurely bath now and will do nothing much this evening.
