This may give some explanation of why I have such a commitment to the school. It's worth it. Blotchy editing, sorry. My tool is a bit rudimentary.BTW, I'm not a Sir, the letter was received by the Head. I've scanned it in and sent it on to the governors.

Ahhh. It's a shame that now you're an academy you haven't control over the bus tender.
Well, we never did, not for schools in our catchment area. But we lay on buses to other towns ... we attract pupils from all over.
What a very civilised area is Suffolk. For you to have received a very well written letter from the ex-school 'bus driver, complimenting you on the good manners and behaviour of your school pupils, says a lot about the standards of our county. I find it very reassuring in what is not(generally speaking) a mannerly age.
How lovely that he wrote and even more that he was inspired to do so by his passengers - Oh, I'm assuming that he is a man!
So nice to hear this.
