Your friend Dodo looks a great character. We wish her a very happy birthday, and she looks as if she is having one.
Warm regards, Mike and Ann.

Wow! I shall be pleased if I look that well at 80 never mind 100.

She's fantastic. Eyesight good enough to read books, mind totally active, interested and engaged in everything. A bit frustrated that her hearing is failing a bit and she is going to need a hearing aid. She still lives in her own home, goes upstairs to bed.

Get her to start a blog, I'd say!

Wonderful. Have you asked her what she feels is the secret?

She looks lovely. What a pleasure to know someone living so well at her age.

My stepfather had an Aunt Dodo but I think she only made it to 96. Probably it was smoking Black Shag that shortened her life.

She's fitter than me!!

I haven't asked, I suspect it's being so interested, active and engaged.

No wifi today, v slow connection so probably no post. House-sitting with 2 dogs, 2 cats, enjoying it very much.

Are you house-sitting for Dodo whilst she goes out on the town?

Bertie & Bailey will be able to smell those dogs about your person.

Bless her heart.

I have just read in the paper about a woman of 110 who attributes her long life to giving up smoking. When she was 104.

Wasn't there a centenarian in 'Whiskey Galore' who said that the first century is the difficult one?
