The blog party is confirmed for Saturday, 16th August. You're welcome to come and to stay over - but if you're staying more than a couple of nights, it would be better to make it the week leading up to the party please, as I'm keeping my options open for the second half of August!

Excellent - looks like a lot of work has gone into that.
What fun!! This year some folks here are decorating wreaths and shrubs with tiny orange pumpkin lights. First time I've seen it, and it's very festive.
Al is a very dedicated greengrocer, and a closet artist. Don't praise him to his face, he'd leave the room in embarrassment.
Ooooo I love the flying bananas!
Wonderful!

Hooray! Even better than last year.
Now that's what you call an angry face (last pic). I love the two green chillies stabbing his neck :-)
Vegtastic Al!
I thought closet artists normally use magic markers though.

I too love the flying red hot chilli peppers. Hope he sold more veg than normal!

That must have received a lot of attention from shoppers and kids. Excellent creative job Al.
That is really, really good!
Another masterpiece by the food artist. Well done Al.

That bad tempered little chap in the last pic. is my favourite. Man, he looks real upset.
