She's fantastic. Eyesight good enough to read books, mind totally active, interested and engaged in everything. A bit frustrated that her hearing is failing a bit and she is going to need a hearing aid. She still lives in her own home, goes upstairs to bed.
All posts have been transferred to razorbladeoflife.co.uk and I normally blog there. Your friend Dodo looks a great character. We wish her a very happy birthday, and she looks as if she is having one.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards, Mike and Ann.
Wow! I shall be pleased if I look that well at 80 never mind 100.

ReplyDeleteGet her to start a blog, I'd say!
ReplyDeleteWonderful. Have you asked her what she feels is the secret?
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely. What a pleasure to know someone living so well at her age.
ReplyDeleteMy stepfather had an Aunt Dodo but I think she only made it to 96. Probably it was smoking Black Shag that shortened her life.
She's fitter than me!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't asked, I suspect it's being so interested, active and engaged.
ReplyDeleteNo wifi today, v slow connection so probably no post. House-sitting with 2 dogs, 2 cats, enjoying it very much.
Are you house-sitting for Dodo whilst she goes out on the town?
ReplyDeleteBertie & Bailey will be able to smell those dogs about your person.
Bless her heart.
ReplyDeleteI have just read in the paper about a woman of 110 who attributes her long life to giving up smoking. When she was 104.
ReplyDeleteWasn't there a centenarian in 'Whiskey Galore' who said that the first century is the difficult one?
ReplyDeleteEnjoying 2 cats?
ReplyDeleteYou're slipping ;)
