Oh no. This is only one step (well maybe a couple) away from the death of a child! Especially for the midwife, aka the Sage. So very sorry, my dears. At least she never woke up, and so died peacefully.

Thanks, dears. It's more stressful for outdoor pets than for domestic ones, being handled by strangers, but we thought she'd be all right.
