Well, I think that Dave orders his books by subject, author and alphabetically rather than primarily by colour. But I just saw this and thought of him.
Oooh I love books. I would love to have a proper big book case up to the ceiling that requires a slidey ladder to reach the top shelf. I suppose that would also require a Georgian house with tall ceilings to accommodate it too, and possibly someone to dust them!
There are certainly a lot of editions, Mago. I like to mix my books up well. Makes it more interesting.
I'd love a proper library, but as I can reach the ceilings of several rooms here, library steps would be wasted on this house. At present, there are piles of books in the hall waiting for a home. I don't know where to put them.
The "Back to School" signs in the shops at the start of August used to be bad enough. It's all counter-productive with me, it makes me switch off until it's almost too late to buy anything at all.
All posts have been transferred to razorbladeoflife.co.uk and I normally blog there. However, it isn't available at present, so I'm back to blogspot If you want to email me, my address is on my profile. However, I am not interested in sponsored posts, reviews or any commercialising of this blog, which I write entirely for pleasure, so please do not write and ask.

ReplyDeleteThat was the impression I was trying to give, Dave. I'm sure your desk is tidy though.
ReplyDeleteNo 'blue' stuff then?....;-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely nothing blue. And yes, my desk is perfectly tidy. No piles of paper for me.
ReplyDeleteMust be a kind of journal, HZ or ZRG, at least published in the 160th year or so.

I'd like one of those chairs that look like a dining chair but split in half, flip over and become library steps -wonderful things.
ReplyDeleteI'd like a library as well please.

If you can reach the ceilings and we all now know the Sage is about twice the height of you, does he have a permanent stoop indoors?
ReplyDeleteOh, and our local supermarket's Easter eggs went on sale on Christmas Eve.
I just have unnaturally long arms.
