Personally, I don't have to long for hope, as I have it in spades. It's as cheap as despair anyway. What I do have though is a deep longing for my hopes to come to fruition, which of course is a totally different kettle of loaves and fishes.
I think that you've dealt with horrible things resolutely this year,Dan. You've not let them overwhelm you and I'm absolutely sure that when you get opportunities you will grab them and succeed with them.
