I made them a croquembouche as a wedding cake. It was the first time I had ever spun sugar. I meant to practise but hey - it's always all right on the night, isn't it?
The blog party is confirmed for Saturday, 16th August. You're welcome to come and to stay over - but if you're staying more than a couple of nights, it would be better to make it the week leading up to the party please, as I'm keeping my options open for the second half of August!

Oh, and one more thing...
HAPPY THIRD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, WEEZA AND PHIL!!(!)

I made them a croquembouche as a wedding cake. It was the first time I had ever spun sugar. I meant to practise but hey - it's always all right on the night, isn't it?

That isn't the actual one I made, I'm not sure where a photo is of that. If ever I find it, I'll post it and you can see the difference! Not that it was a failure, indeed, I was rather proud of it.
