ReplyDeleteI planned a trip to the library today, then remembered that on Friday it is only open from 1 - 6, within which time frame I will not be able to get there. We're going away for the weekend, so I will begin my binge with not a single new book in the house!

ReplyDeleteFunny thing happened to me on the way to the library yesterday afternoon to pick up Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. I became nauseous. Was sick the rest of the night at home. I am quite sure it was some bad pickled ginger.

ReplyDeleteJust went over to sign up for the reading binge. I am much better today thankyou. I love pickled ginger, thin pink slivers of ginger that are served with sushi here. I had a full jar that went bad in the fridge. Guess it has a shelf life.
