Your cucumbers are several weeks ahead of ours!
ReplyDeleteI left them in pots so long that it was difficult to get them out without breaking them. I think being slightly pot-bound got them to fruit quicker.
ReplyDeleteSurplus produce goes to son's shop. But not these little darlings, they are for US. Today. They are taking a lot of strength from the plant so need cutting.
You're definitely correct about the pot thing - we did exactly the same by accident one year and now always only grow ours in 4 litre pots. We usually have about a dozen cucs per plant all in all. Quite the hardest working plant around.
