New from the farm

Jonny has had these bottles commissioned for the sale of milk fresh from the farm.  Very cool.

  3. Excellent!

Just a thought: Does 'raw' mean 'unpasteurised'? And a shame it's not a pint (568 ml).

  4. Certainly, BW, I'll get you one.

Yes, Tim, unpasteurised, straight from the cow. Jonny's learning cheesemaking too, that's his next venture.

John, I've got to rescue you from spam, and I don't know why your comments usually end up there and I apologise. It's lovely milk - not that I use a lot of it myself, but when I do I don't bother with the skimmed sort. I go for quality over quantity every time!

  6. What a splendid sight. I used to love drinking fresh milk straight from the dairy - it isn't at all like pasteurised.

  7. Very rigorous health and hygiene checks, of course. You take your bottle (plastic ones are free) and put £1 in the machine and it dispenses a litre of milk into the bottle as you hold it. Ice cream, eggs and the glass bottles are paid for into an honesty box.
