The Sage is completely happy. He's sitting in an armchair, laptop in front of him, watching today's auction at Acle online, live.
I'm going to go and make him a cup of tea and make his day complete by adding to the tray a chocolate biscuit.
The blog party is confirmed for Saturday, 16th August. You're welcome to come and to stay over - but if you're staying more than a couple of nights, it would be better to make it the week leading up to the party please, as I'm keeping my options open for the second half of August!
All posts have been transferred to razorbladeoflife.co.uk and I normally blog there. However, it isn't available at present, so I'm back to blogspot If you want to email me, my address is on my profile.
However, I am not interested in sponsored posts, reviews or any commercialising of this blog, which I write entirely for pleasure, so please do not write and ask.
Tweets are pervasive you can not avoid them forever, it will get him
ReplyDeleteJust been and looked at that online auction - it could become quite addictive. Better go and do something more sensible - ooh you've just posted again...
ReplyDeleteEek. We're still resisting the siren call of Facebook and Twitter here - so far...
ReplyDeleteThe Sage has gone out to do some shopping - the china he wants to watch being sold isn't coming up for over an hour.
ReplyDeleteI've got the auction on as I type. I like the auctioneer - he's very good. Excellent banter, no annoying verbal habits and he gets on with it briskly. Full marks.
I have no idea what twitter would be, or better: is, good for. This facebook is like an octopus, becomes a giant data assembly ... googel's "social community" will be even more data-intense with the geographical positioning of people ... it goes too far for my taste.
ReplyDeleteChokolate is a great idea now.
And for mine, Mago.
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, the Sage and I are passing a box of chocolates between us now. That is, I took a chocolate and gave him the box. He has only eaten two so far, though.
The Hub and I each choose a personal selection of See;s chocolates for Valentines Day, Easter and Christmas. My selections always disappear first!
