I've just realised the time - a bit late to start writing much. So here are a few photos of the Algarve.

    The 'relaxes' one is very arty :)

    The Algarve looks less built-up and touristy than I imagined. Never having been there for fear of tripping over all the British ex-pats claiming their winter fuel allowances and coming 'home' only when they are ill, to use the NHS...

    Aw, aren't you sweet?

    There's an awful lot of apartments, BW and modern hotels. Most of the development is right by the coast though. I'll show you some inland photos later.

    I can rather see the benefit of staying there for the winter, England isn't necessarily the country of choice if you suffer from aches and pains. The ex-pat life wouldn't be for me though.
