I woke up this morning, it was 5.22
I woke up this morning, it was five twenty-two.
It was already light and I felt blue because at 5.22 this afternoon it will be dark and that is really absurd.
Stuff GMT, I want British Summer Time all year round.
The blog party is confirmed for Saturday, 16th August. You're welcome to come and to stay over - but if you're staying more than a couple of nights, it would be better to make it the week leading up to the party please, as I'm keeping my options open for the second half of August!
All posts have been transferred to razorbladeoflife.co.uk and I normally blog there. However, it isn't available at present, so I'm back to blogspot If you want to email me, my address is on my profile.
However, I am not interested in sponsored posts, reviews or any commercialising of this blog, which I write entirely for pleasure, so please do not write and ask.
I woke up this morning and it was 8.00am.
ReplyDeleteI woke up this morning and it was eight.
It was already light. But I felt alright.
At 8pm it will be dark. That's fine by me too...I won't be feeling blue.
Please don't feel sad...winter is not so bad.*
We'll make you laugh, we'll make you smile...and life will once more seem worthwhile.**
* - says she who loathes winter but needed to find a rhyme.
** sorry for the appalling poetry I am braindead.
Wendz, I love you.
ReplyDeleteIf you love Wendy, you must be nice too!
ReplyDeleteCool little rhyme.
I woke up this morning it was 5.58
I woke up this morning one hour too late
I was late for my insulin, and I felt a bit weak
But at 5.58 later, off home I will sneak.
I love 5.58! Not so keen on my poem though!
But yes, it is hideously light at 5am now and too dark in the evening.
Take over comments boxes indeed! Wendy makes it sound like I am initiating some sort of bloggatory coup!
Bugger just realised I used the wrong log in. Never mind, it was me, Kitty or whatever my name is!
ReplyDeleteTess/Kitty, I am nice. And you are very welcome to take over my comments box whenever you like.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I feel that I didn't try hard enough, because I didn't rhyme.
Ha ha Kitty - all those disguises can't hide the real you...this my darling KitKat is for you....the girl who couldn't make up her mind
ReplyDeleteZ - you are more than nice.
Wendy that link doesn't work for me. Does it for you?
ReplyDeleteIt's pouring with rain here and I have to go out and collect something from the car. That's more than not nice!
Sorry about calling it a rhyme, Z when it doesn't. It was good though.
That reminds me of the limerick
ReplyDeleteThere was an old man of St Bees
Who was stung on the leg* by a wasp
When asked "Does it hurt?"
He replied "Yes it does,
But I'm so glad it wasn't a hornet."
*I can't actually remember where he was stung
I woke up this morning,
ReplyDeleteOn Radio Norfolk there was a phone in,
I woke up this morning,
Concerned about my levels of melatonin,
I couldn't stand the lack of sunshine,
So I stayed in bed and read my AJ Cronin.
I woke up this morning at 5:22
ReplyDeleteThe boiler was going with its noisy old flue (*)
I needed to sleep cuz I'd been up until half past three (**)
Debating the method of killing a neighbours tree
Cause he's a bastard
*One of the things I hate about Winter is having to put the boiler back on. Its such a noisy old thing, always wakes me up
** Well, it was 12 really, but I couldn't find the right rhyme. We did honestly talk about neighbourial revenge, given how nasty the man is.
I wonder why Blogger sometimes buggers up the links....
ReplyDeletehere it is again
Murphy and Boy, take a bow. That is, a bow each.
