I'd suggest being close to the Grand Canal as then you won't have to walk too far when you've walked a lot already.<BR/><BR/>The seafood was all good, and the pasta of course. The very nicest thing I had was mussels, Venetian style, which were in a gorgeous tomato sauce - like a fresh tomato soup. Also delicious fried fish. And the spaghetti with clams was good. And the spaghetti nero (with squid, in squid ink). <BR/><BR/>Lots of lovely veg on the market stalls but we weren't given much in restaurants funnily enough.
